James stars in the Enduro Series
Enduro Mountain Bike racing takes place over 4-6 stages each day. Competitors make their way to the top of some of the UKs largers hills and mountains...
With support from Stephenson Personal Care, James has been training since early 2015, with around 7 of 15 races already completed. Typically taking 3-5 hours to complete, each race-day can have a total of 1500m of climbing / descending. The first races of the season have had great weather, good competition and challenging tracks.
As the season moves on, several top 10 finishes spurred James on to a 3rd place at the recent Enduro World Series event in Scotland! 3 days of practice, 2 days of tight racing and over 150km of riding resulted in a best ever finish and a great confidence boost for the 2nd half of the year.
But racing mountain bikes doesn’t always go so smoothly. A mistake last weekend left James feeling a little fragile with an evening in the local Hospital!
Heal up soon James, and good luck with the next races!
