As a member of our Internal Sales Team, you will be the link between our customers and our business. Working within the resale team to provide exceptional levels of customer service and ensure that we are delivering beyond our partner’s expectations. In this role, you will fully understand what is important to accounts in order for our relationships to run smoothly from an administrative and operational perspective and provide sales focussed support to the account management and business development teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to our account base and support them through adding great value to their business.

  • Have the ability to integrate and effectively communicate with other commercial functions including the account management, business development and marketing teams to effectively carry out your role.

  • Work closely with the production planning team as the link between the customer and the to find creative solutions to meet the customer’s requirements where possible on lead time and required availability or dates.

  • Manage the internal, administrative aspects of your account base including gaining, consolidating and tracing customer forecasts, placing contracts on the system and monitoring and arranging call offs and flagging any contracts that are expiring or getting close to being complete. You will provide pallet configurations, and weights as part of this.

  • Be the first point of contact for your accounts for any challenges including logistical delay or discrepancies, product quality, or simply a query via email or telephone. If a complaint arises you will investigate with the Customer Experience team and feed back to the account contact effectively.

  • Be responsible for using SAGE X3 to process customer orders, check pricing against customer PO’s and internal pricing system and liaise with our transport team to arrange deliveries and any customer facing associated paperwork that comes with this including dealing with the chamber of commerce and external hauliers to coordinate ex-works collections for customers and produce any product specific labels or paperwork that is required.

  • Create and edit any country specific documents so that no transport is held up and so that customer products can transit through the respective customs efficiently.

  • Be able to follow the process and be involved with the improvement of this, to improve efficiency with the Key Account Coordinator.

  • Consolidating and producing data for the sales team including analysis of account behaviours and tracking progress and feeding back to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.

  • Retain orders and flag any possible delays or cancellations to the appropriate account manager.

  • Be a problem solver and solution finder for any returns and effectively coordinate these.

  • Be able to work with agility and to identify commercially viable priorities to improve efficiency

  • Be a creative and critical thinker to proactively identify problems and find solutions before they have an impact internally or externally

  • The ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation both internal and external

  • Fantastic level of understanding of Microsoft Office 365 programs including Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, SAGE X3 or similar system

  • Experience of developing internal process within a busy administrative function and strive for constant improvement

  • Work with flexibility and be a team player willing to get stuck in and help where required

  • Excellent telephone manner to communicate with existing customers with passion and empathy where required

  • Have a willingness to learn, develop and contribute to the improvement of the sales coordination team.


  • Experience within a global business working across time zones and with diverse customer types and their requirements and consolidate them into a process

  • Experience working with export paperwork and dealing with the chamber of commerce and customers within different global territories
